Virac, Catanduanes — Esberto Rafael B. Eubra Jr., President of Nature’s Bounty Trading Corporation, recently led the company in making significant donations to key organizations in Virac as part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The company donated a total of 300 cases of bottled water to support local disaster preparedness efforts, religious events, and charitable institutions.
The first donation was made to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Virac, which received 100 cases of bottled water.
In a formal statement, Josephine S. Benavidez, DRRM Officer-II, expressed the municipality’s gratitude, saying, “We would like to acknowledge the receipt of 100 cases of water bottles from Nature’s Bounty Trading Corp. Rest assured that we will cherish and make good use of this in our daily activities, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
She emphasized that the donation would be vital in supporting the daily operations of the office and ensuring the well-being of the community during emergencies.
Nature’s Bounty also extended its support to the Diocese of Virac’s Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish Parochial District of Peñafrancia. The donation of 100 cases of bottled water will be used during the upcoming Maritime Procession of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, an important religious and cultural event in the region.
Rev. Fr. Rico M. Subion Jr., Priest In-Charge, highlighted the significance of the contribution, stating, “Your generous donation will be used during the Maritime Procession of Our Lady of Peñafrancia. Your support plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of all participants and volunteers throughout this significant event.”
He expressed his deep appreciation on behalf of the parish for the company's continued support of the community's spiritual and cultural activities.
In addition, the Alfonso Maria Fusco Children’s Home, Inc. in Virac, Catanduanes, received 100 cases of bottled water from Nature’s Bounty Trading Corp.
This donation will support the daily needs of children under the care of the organization. Sr. Gemma M. Ibaradaloza, CSSJB, acknowledged the impact of the contribution, stating, “Your contribution will significantly impact the well-being of the children in our care. We truly appreciate your commitment to our cause.”
